See some of the best work from the man behind the Landscape Photography Awards at the National Theatre.

Silent Exchange by Charlie Waite at the National Theatre brings together the seminal work of the photographer who has helped so many others get a foothold in the art form through the annual Landscape Photography Awards, which he started.
Bringing together over 50 of Waite’s photographs, taken both here in Britain and abroad, the exhibition will ask readers for their personal responses to the beauty of the scenes.
Of his photos, Waite says: “The wonderful thing about photography is that it allows that moment of perceived beauty to endure, and to be shared. Each person will respond to the images in Silent Exchange in their own special, silent way. What evoked a response to beauty in me will have its own unique effect on each person that sees the image. ”

The free Silent Exchange exhibition will run until the end of September in the Lyttleton exhibition space at the National Theatre in London.
