St Paul’s Cathedral in London has launched a new competition on social media to raise awareness of their fundraising

The world famous cathedral that lovingly perforates the London skyline is inviting everyone to join in their ‘Surprise St Paul’s’ campaign.

The idea is simple. They want you to show them an alternative view of the well-known monument. Photos are to be of the outside of the cathedral only and can be of the entire thing or just a small detail that you think is overlooked.

The competition is running until the 26 September 2014 on the cathedral’s Facebook and Twitter pages. To enter, simply tweet or post your picture to the Facebook page using the hashtag #SurpriseStPauls and their Twitter handle @StPaulsLondon.

The competition is open to people in all countries around the world and the winner and five friends will have the opportunity to take part in a private photography session inside the cathedral with the Surveyor to the Fabric of the Cathedral, Oliver Caroe. This will be followed by dinner at the Benihana restaurant at the Grange Hotel opposite.
