One lucky winner and their guest will enjoy a unique stay aboard Fingal, at Edinburgh’s historic Port of Leith.
Developed by The Royal Yacht Britannia, Fingal opened in January 2019 in Edinburgh’s historic Port of Leith as a unique addition to Edinburgh’s hotel scene. This former Northern Lighthouse Board ship is now beginning an exciting new chapter, offering beautiful cabins, dining and entertaining spaces.
Fingal’s 23 cabins are each named after Stevenson lighthouses, inspired by her rich maritime heritage. Sleek corridors lined with lighthouse images lead to the beautiful cabins. Carefully considered design reflects the highest standards of craftmanship and finish, with nautical touches and polished woods throughout. Sumptuous Scottish leathers
and the finest linens are in colour palettes inspired by the ship’s intrepid journeys.
The Lighthouse Bar offers a stylish yet relaxed setting for Fingal’s interpretation of a classic afternoon tea or a light supper celebrating the best of Scotland’s larder, from coast to port. The welcoming Moët Hennessy Champagne bar is the ideal place to enjoy a cocktail while the sun sets through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Fingal evokes the glamour of the golden age of travel. She combines an escape from the everyday with proximity to all the delights of Scotland’s capital, from Edinburgh Castle to the Royal Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The prize will include two nights aboard Fingal, staying in a luxurious cabin, with a full Scottish breakfast each morning, as well as tickets to visit Her Majesty the Queen’s former ship, The Royal Yacht Britannia. The winner will also be treated to the unforgettable experience of tea and scones on board.

Closing date for entries is 12pm GMT 2 January 2020. Excludes Friday and Saturday nights. The prize is to be redeemed by 2 January 2021 and is non-transferable. Travel to the hotel is not included.
