A new exhibition at the National Galleries of Scotland, explores the wonder of childhood through the medium of photography

Featuring over 100 images from the very early days of photography, right up to the present, the When We Were young exhibition at the National Galleries of Scotland is both a lesson in social history and a nostalgic trip for many.

The exhibition includes images from the likes of Julia Margaret Cameron and Lewis Carroll and capture children at play, home, school…even work.
