Ipswich

Ipswich is one of England’s oldest towns, developing in the 7th and 8th centuries during the Anglo-Saxon period. In the years that followed, it gained prosperity trading Suffolk cloth with the Continent and as such there are some beautiful historic buildings sprinkled around its streets. St Mary le Tower is a particularly noteworthy landmark, as it is one of the few churches in the country to be built during the reign of William IV.
