Sipsmiths’ Juniper Gin
Sipsmith’s new Very Junipery Over Proof Gin (£37.95 per 70cl bottle), or the V.J.O.P, has been created to pay homage to the juniper berry, with gin as the key ingredient of course. Based on the brand’s award-winning London Dry Gin, Master Distiller Jared Brown has increased the proportion of Juniper in the recipe, creating a ‘Triple Juniper’ technique to produce the gin, which involves adding the ingredient to the liquid at three different stages.
