Skyscraper views of London

Don’t miss your chance to get to the top of Millbank Tower, the high-rise landmark on London’s riverside in Westminster, and enjoy the fabulous views from the top floor.

The 29th floor at the top of the tower is now Altitude 360º, a gallery and venue for private and corporate events, but, for a few dates during August, it will open to the public as a fabulous viewing gallery.

Altitude 360 is on the top floor of the Millbank Tower in Westminster

Millbank Tower stands by the river in Westminster, not far from the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. It was designed by Ronald Ward and Partners and constructed in 1963, and originally known as Vickers Tower. It’s 118-metres high, Grade II Listed and one of the capital’s tallest buildings, which are rare enough but new buildings going up in the City and on Southbank, including the new Shard, are adding to the skycraper line-up, and a restaurant, The Paramount, has opened to the pubilc at the top of Centre Point, near Tottenham Court Road tube station.

The viewing gallery at Altitude 360º will be open to the public around weekends throughout August and you can enjoy the spectacular 360 degree views of London at your leisure: there’s no time-limit to a visit. It will be open from 12noon to 1am, so evening visitors can watch the city light up and sparkle into the night. Stand-up comedians will be on hand to talk about the views, point out key landmarks and entertain, and there’s a champagne bar.

Tickets for Altitude 360º are from £10 for adults, £5 for children (5 to 12 years) and children under five go free. There’s also a VIP ticket which includes fast-track access, an Altitude 360º map to the London skyline, a souvenir photograph, a 360- degree guided tour by one of the comedians and a glass of champagne, at £29.
