Greystones Farm Nature Reserve, Bourton-on-the-Water Network of ponds, lakes and water meadows on the outskirts of the village, with interesting plant and bird life in abundance. Tel: 01452 383333; www.gloucestershire

Ozleworth Bottom, Wotton-under-Edge Beautiful and secluded walks along the valley bottom, a unique church with a circular church yard and an excellent place to see bluebells in the spring.

Sezincote House and Garden, Moreton in-Marsh Extraordinary Indian-style  house that provided the inspiration for Brighton Pavilion. Tel: 01386 700444;

The Cotswolds Art & Antique Dealers’ Association Members have shops and galleries around the area for antique hunters to explore.
