Herefordshire Food Week

Head to Herefordshire’s Food Week between between August 13 and 21 for tempting locally-grown produce. 25 producers around the county will open their doors to the public for demonstrations, sampling and guided tours.

With Herefordshire’s Orchards, rolling hills and rich soils no wonder they have a selection of tasty treats on offer.
The producers are holding behind-the-scenes tours, demonstrations and sampling for the public and an opportunity to buy straight
from the farm itself. You can’t get much fresher than that!
Sample Bodenham English Wines, Carey Organics vegetables, Dore Valley chocolates. Dunkertons cider, Monkland cheese and Rowlestone Farmhouse icecream, as well as many other delicious food and drink products from producers opening especially for the Food Week.
‘This is a chance for foodies and families to visit some of the best foodmakers in the UK, at their own premises’ says Andy Dawson, who has helped organize the event alongside Herefordshire Council.
‘You get to see how they grow and make food and drink, and sample thedelicious results,’ he adds, ‘And best of all, it’s all set in one of themost unspoilt rural havens in Britain.’
