Our lucky winner and their guest will win a special private tour, including private quayside arrival and highlights of The Royal Yacht Britannia. A personal guide will give our winner and their guest a unique insight into the history of the Royal Yacht and reveal how the Royal Family and crew lived and worked on board. They will also receive an official Britannia Guidebook as a memento of their tour.

Our winner and their guest will also win a night’s stay on Britannia’s sister ship, Fingal: a luxury floating hotel permanently berthed on Edinburgh’s vibrant waterfront. This historic ship started life as a lighthouse tender, helping to maintain lighthouses and transport their keepers, equipment and supplies to some of the most remote locations in Scotland.

Now she has been transformed into an exquisite 23-cabin boutique hotel and exclusive-use venue by the award-winning team at The Royal Yacht Britannia. It’s a hotel with all the glamour and style of a luxury yacht but with an old-world elegance that is completely unique. Curves and tilts, deck spaces and beautiful lines all tell the story of Fingal’s rich seafaring history, offering a unique experience that’s far removed from your everyday world.

The Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar has been meticulously designed with Art Deco-inspired interiors to give guests an unhurried sense of luxury. Relax on seats covered in the softest leather and watch day turn to night as the evening sun spills across the ocean, enveloping the vibrant Leith Docks in soft, dusky tones.

In the morning, a full Scottish breakfast with all the trimmings awaits, made from the very best of Scotland’s seasonal larder. This luxurious feast includes local specialities such as Charles Macleod Stornoway black pudding, Campbells haggis, potato scones, traditional Scottish porridge and much more. The perfect way to set you up for a day’s exploring Scotland’s historic capital.
