Tudor of the Month

Undoubtedly the royal household that draws the most interest, the reign of the Tudors began with King Henry VII who ascended to the throne following the War of the Roses. Between him, his son King Henry VIII and his three children King Edward VI, Queen Mary I and Queen Elizabeth I, the Tudors ruled for 118 years. Each month we’ll profile a different figure with ties to the royal court during this period and also the House of Stuart who ruled Scotland at the time before going on to rule the United Kingdom.
