You don’t get much more ‘quintessentially English’ than the sweet, sleepy villages of the Cotswolds. Visiting beautiful places like Painswick, Biddestone, Winchcombe or Woodstock, are like going back in time.
There are famous cities and towns, too, such as Bath and Cheltenham, while Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester and Tetbury are all well worth a visit.
