Shakespeare’s legacy

This year (2016) marks the 400th anniversary of the death of Shakespeare and across the world his legacy will be celebrated. Born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, in 1564.
Shakespeare wrote at least 37 plays and coined hundreds of words and phrases that are still in common parlance today. He died on 23 April 1616 and is today widely regarded as the greatest playwright in history.
