Enter our competition to win a two-night gourmet stay for two people at The Wordsworth Hotel, a pretty 4-star spa hotel in the heart of Grasmere in the Lake District. The lucky winner and their guest will be treated to a Champagne afternoon tea on arrival; a four-course dinner on the first night in the hotel’s Signature Restaurant; an eight-course taster menu in the Signature Restaurant on the final evening, with paired wines from the hotel’s cellar; and a full English breakfast each morning made with farm-fresh produce.

Grasmere is a wonderful location from which to explore the Lake District, flanked by two small lakes, or ‘meres’, Grasmere and Rydal Water. Fans of Wordsworth – after whom the hotel is named – can visit Dove Cottage, once home to the Romantic poet and his sister, now preserved as a museum, and Rydal Mount, which was the poet’s family home, and where he spent the majority of his life.
