Enjoy the spectacular Enchanted Woodland event in Syon Park, West London, which showcases the beautifully illuminated woods at night time
THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED
Syon Park’s Enchanted Woodland is an illuminated trail which winds round the ornamental lake and through the historic arboretum of Syon House, ending at the spectacular Great Conservatory.
This relaxed and informal event for all ages sees the Gardens and Great Conservatory spectacularly illuminated so guests can enjoy an atmospheric wintry walk through Syon Park’s historic grounds as darkness falls. This will be the ninth year the event has taken place and promises a romantic, unique and beautiful view of the woods at night.
Visitors will need to wrap up warm and make sure they’re wearing stout shoes. Refreshments will be available: grab a hot chocolate or mulled wine to walk around with – and maybe come back for a steaming bowl of lamb casserole, vegetable stew or delicious soup. The popular Garden Kitchen Restaurant will also be serving burgers, sausages and cake.
The event is open from 21 November to 7 December, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only. Doors open when it gets dark around 5pm, last entry is at 8pm and lights go off at 9pm. Entry is £7 for adults and £3 for children (aged 3-16). Tickets are available in advance or on the night. For more information visit www.enchantedwoodland.com
