Step aside, Barbie and Ken, because there’s a new couple in town that are set to take the shelves by storm
The noted toy manufacturer, Mattel, have announced that they are going to release special souvenir dolls of Prince William and Kate Middleton to mark the royal couple’s first year anniversary.
The Duchess of Cambridge will be wearing a miniature replica of the Alexander McQueen gown that wowed the nation last year and the Prince will be dressed in his traditional red Irish guards uniform and blue Order of the Garter sash.
The couple, who married on 29th April 2011 at Westminster Abbey, have already gathered a devoted following worldwide and it’s only a matter of time before these special souvenir dolls make their way to the top of every Royalist’s wish list.
The dolls will be released on April 7th but you can pre-order the Barbie Collector Royal Wedding William and Catherine Doll Set
