Hello dears,

Take no notice of Basil. We happily take reservations all year round and you’re guaranteed a lovely meal…Manuel will be there to help you. Or to pick up the pieces.

Love Sybil.

Join Basil, Sybil and Manuel as the globe-trotting show Faulty Towers The Dining Experience continues its London West End residency throughout 2014 at the four-star Charing Cross Hotel on the Strand. BRITAIN readers can be in with the chance of getting the unique Faulty Towers experience first-hand by entering our competition. This is the same show that sells out wherever it goes, from Canada’s National Arts Centre, to Australia’s Sydney Opera House. This year it even has debuts in Iceland, Malaysia and the Royal Albert Hall, and it ranks consistently high in TripAdvisor’s top London attractions and performances.

Basil-and-manuel

With Basil, Sybil and Manuel on hand and only a third of the show scripted, anything can happen as audiences take a seat in the ‘Fawlty Towers’ restaurant. Expect all the best gags, shambolic service, and a 1970s-style three-course meal in this internationally acclaimed show – just don’t mention the war.

British audiences first met the bumbling Basil Fawlty in 1975 when Fawlty Towers was broadcast on the BBC. Guests had to put up with unpredictable behaviour as Basil and his long-suffering sidekick Manuel tried to guard guests from everything, from mice in the kitchen to dead bodies in the laundry, all watched over by the disapproving eye of Basil’s wife, Sybil.
