CLOSED: Enter our competition to win a special Colman’s Mustard Shop & Museum Christmas hamper, celebrating 200 years of Colman’s in Norwich
Colman’s Mustard, a true staple of the British kitchen, is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. On May 7th 1814, the Norfolk Chronicle announced that Jeremiah Colman had taken the stock and trade of a mustard mill in Stoke Holy Cross. 200 years later, the brand that Jeremiah founded is known simply as Colman’s. The Colman family were known for their philanthropy, which extended to the season of good will. Every year Colman’s held a Christmas dinner for their workers at Stoke Holy Cross, and gave a present of money when the firm relocated to Carrow in Norwich. The factory still stands at Carrow today.
To mark this momentous milestone, the Colman’s Mustard Shop & Museum in Norwich are offering a Christmas hamper packed full of delicious seasonal condiments and other tasty goodies to one lucky contestant. The hamper contains one of each Colman’s limited edition anniversary jars, plus condiments to enhance your Christmas dinner, including cranberry sauce, apple sauce, mint sauce and many more. It will also include branded merchandise to compliment your kitchen, such as a tea towel, mug and apron.
Don’t miss this opportunity to infuse your dining table with classic British ingredients.
