With 2015 seeing so many important historical milestones for Britain, from 50 years since Sir Winston Churchill‘s death to the bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo, this year’s Battle Proms picnic concert series is set to be particularly special.

The events feature gun salutes, cavalry, Spitfire aerial displays, music and fireworks and take place in the grounds of some of the UK’s finest stately homes and we have a pair of tickets to give away for each event.

Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, will offer a battle re-enactment by the Napoleonic Association, while the signature Battle Symphony by Beethoven will be played at all events, with 193 live firing cannon providing a ground shaking percussion. And 70 years since the end of WW2, the Proms’ final concert at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire takes place on 15 August, the 70th anniversary of V-J Day.

Burghley House, Lincolnshire – Saturday 4 July

Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire – Saturday 11 July

Hatfield House, Hertfordshire – Saturday 18 July

Highclere Castle, Hampshire – Saturday 1 August

Ragley Hall, Warwickshire – Saturday 15 August

We are giving away a pair of tickets to each of the above events.
