World-famous performers set to wow crowds at the UK’s most glamorous boutique festival.
The beautiful and historic market town of Henley on Thames in the stunning Oxfordshire Chiltern Hills is home to the Henley Royal Regatta – the best-known regatta in the world and one of the highlights of the summer sporting calendar and social season – and the Henley Festival, one of the UK’s most glamorous boutique festivals.
This year the festival returns to its lovely setting along the river in Henley on Thames from 6-10 July with an amazing array of internationally renowned musical talent and a wealth of cultural events spanning comedy, food, visual arts and street theatre.
Elton John and His Band will open Henley Festival on its floating stage on Wednesday 6 July to a sold-out audience, while one of Britain’s greatest entertainers Dame Shirley Bassey will be teaming up with Brit-Award winning vocal group BLAKE on Saturday 9 July.
On Friday the festival returns to its classical roots with legendary Welsh opera singer Bryn Terfel performing with the Welsh National Opera orchestra.
