Seaham Hall spa

HAVING PUBLISHED a feature on hotels with spas in the Aug/Sep09 issue, we are delighted to hear that Von Essen Hotels has launched 'Spa as You Go' passes, which give you competitive rates for day visits to any of their nine spas. You can buy six or 12 day passes, valid for a year from purchase, then use them however you like. If you're on holiday in Britain, for example, you and a travelling companion could indulge in day visits to spas on your itinerary. Or if you live in Britain and have a favourite Von Essen spa nearby, you could treat yourself to regular visits throughout the year. Whatever combination appeals to you! Von Essen Hotel spas include The Royal Crescent in Bath, Seaham Hall in County Durham, and Bishopstrow House in Wiltshire.

The six passes costs £550, and 12
days £950. Included in each pass is unlimited use of the spa facilities, a two-course lunch and either a one-hour facial or one-hour massage. You can pick up your pass at any of the spa hotels, call (01761) 301001 or go to www.vonessentials.com. More information on the Von Essen hotels and spas: www.vonessenhotels.co.uk/spa.
