DON'T MISS the 10th annual exhibition, Art in the Garden, running to 31 August at Crook Hall in Durham. The exhibition showcases the work of some of the most exciting and innovative artists in the north. You can also watch artists at work. Crook Hall, the home of Maggie and Keith Bell, is a Grade I Listed medieval hall dating back to the 13th century, with Jacobean and Georgian additions, set in beautiful gardens. Cream teas are available in the courtyard. Open April to September, plus special events and seasonal openings such as around Halloween and before Christmas.
