THE V&A shop's latest collection includes this cotton bag featuring a pattern adapted from a blockprinted wallpaper pattern designed by William Morris, entitled ‘Double Bough’ (1890). Not only is it super stylish, it's also designed to fold up small enough to fit into its own neat little pouch.

Arts and Crafts artist William Morris and his firm, Morris & Co designed and produced an array of furnishings, making him one of the most influential designers in British history. Complicated leaf motifs on fabrics and particularly wallpapers were a popular theme, and unsurprisingly, Morris & Co designs remain equally sought after today.

Morris 'Double Bough' Mini Tote (£8) is available from the V&A South Kensington, Cromwell Road, London or by calling, tel: (020) 7942 2696; www.vandashop.com
